1) Check the Basics First Ensure that the apartment’s power outlets are working. Bring a mobile charger along to the apartment during the inspection. This will help you check whether the outlets are working. Next comes water pressure. The water pressure should be neither too hard nor too gentle. 2) Cellphone Signal Reception The apartment may be cozy and cool. But, suppose the cellphone signal reception is poor. You will have to find a perfect spot in your house every single time you make a phone call. To avoid scampering to the perfect spot every time you have to make, test the scenario. Make calls from different spots during your visit to check the strength of the signal. 3) Look for Uninvited Visitors Apartments come with furniture, appliances, and sometimes, unwanted guests: Pests and Rodents. While visiting an apartment , do check the kitchen cabinets for insect poop. You can also ask the apartment owner for a copy of the latest pest control treatment receipt.
